Description

Red Wine IGT Toscana: the elegant character of Cusebio

Cusebio is a Red Wine IGT Toscana among the most representative of Fattoria Dianella 1. It comes from a careful blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Petit Verdot grown on the Cipressi hill, a few steps from Win in the province of Florence and near the city of Empoli, in an extraordinary terroir. This wine tells the strength of the Tuscan tradition with an intense, elegant and long-lived personality.

Origin of the Tuscan IGT Red Wine Cusebio

The name Cusebio comes from the Greek Eusebius, which means “honoring the Gods”. It was chosen to evoke determination, character and authenticity: the same qualities that define this Red Wine IGT Tuscany.

The grapes come from the hills surrounding Dianella, an area known for its ideal microclimate: excellent temperature variations between day and night allow for balanced ripening, enriching the aromatic intensity of the wine.

Winemaking and aging

Artisanal selection and care in the cellar

The harvest is manual, with a careful selection of the bunches. The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, vinified separately with macerations of 12-15 days at a controlled temperature.

Long refinement for a great wine

There malolactic fermentation takes place in cement. After assembly, the wine ages for 12 months in steel, then 12 months in French oak barrels medium roasted and finally 3 months in the bottle. This process enhances structure and complexity, typical of a great Red Wine IGT Tuscany.
